Meet our Founder
Luis Morales started Tonsorial Barber Shop in 2021, but his story starts long before then. Read below to understand the background and mindset of our founder, and how his approach to barbering has shaped Tonsorial.
Coming from a second generation barber/hairdressing background, Luis Morales started cutting hair and immediately gained a loyal following among his friends and clients. He discovered that his true niche and passion was in men’s haircutting. Luis’s skills and education classify him as a true men’s hairstylist barber. Morales, and Tonsorial, strives to help men transform themselves in order to look, feel, and perform their best with a quality crafted haircut.
Before opening his own barbershop, Luis worked at the top barbershops in Atlanta. He felt like it was time to open up his own shop, where he could give a unique experience to every client. He wanted to give to his clients the experience that was passed down from two generations before him.
Luis’ grandfather was a hairstylist/barber and passed this passion down to Luis. His grandfather owned five shops, and even won 2nd place in a barber show for the best barber in all of Mexico. He told Luis that he was meant to strive for being number one in this craft, and it definitely shows in his work.
Tonsorial Barber Shop is backed by a family that is dedicated to the barbershop and amazing customer service, from generation to generation. Luis is the third generation to take care of the gentleman, to make sure he looks good and succeeds everyday. He says, “We’re not unsupervised barbers- two generations back us up, and we hope that when you come and see it for yourself that we have your full satisfaction”.
